AI Disclosure
Essays I publish on this website are always entirely written by me personally, unless I directly state otherwise. I often use AI tools, primarily Claude and Claude Code, for numerical calculations, coding, graphics, secondary proofreading, website maintenance, and related infrastructure tasks. I never use AI tools for generating text.
By graphics, I mean mathematical graphs, charts, tables, and other ways of representing data. While the details may vary, you can reasonably assume that AI tools were used in their creation when they appear in my writing. Images, in the sense of photographs or drawings or similar forms of illustration that are more characteristic of art, come from a wide variety of sources. Each image origin will be individually noted.
The ideas in my writing originate in numberless ways: sui generis in my own mind, in discussions with friends and colleagues, in books, in online media, and indeed in conversations with AI. It’s not often possible to cleanly describe the origins of a thought, but I will do my best to give credit where credit is due. I will not waste your time or mine with material you could have generated yourself with a prompt.
I diligently attempt to verify factual and numerical statements in my work. Any remaining errors, regardless of origin, are my responsibility as the author.
